As the leading vault infrastructure platform powering over $4 billion in assets, we're proud to announce TuongVy Le as our new General Counsel. Le brings more than 15 years of experience across crypto, financial regulation, and securities law and joins Veda at a pivotal moment of enterprise acceleration in DeFi.
A Cross-Sector Leader in Crypto Regulation
Le’s career spans the public and private sectors, including senior roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Anchorage Digital (the first federally chartered crypto bank), and Bain Capital Crypto, where she led policy and regulatory initiatives. She has helped shape the U.S. regulatory landscape for digital assets from both inside government and at the forefront of crypto innovation.
"Le has seen crypto regulation evolve from every angle: inside government, venture, and federally regulated institutions,” said Stephanie Vaughan, Co-Founder and COO of Veda. “Her experience will be critical as we partner with exchanges, custodians, and asset managers."
Veda Vaults Will Lead Enterprise Adoption
Vaults have rapidly evolved from a niche primitive to foundational infrastructure for institutional DeFi. Today, Veda powers a growing list of yield products across top protocols like EtherFi, Plasma and Lombard. Unlike most vault platforms, Veda’s BoringVault standard is highly customizable supporting multiple chains, strategies, and assets. This makes it the infrastructure of choice for both developers and enterprises.
With over 100,000 users and more than $4 billion total value locked, Veda is ready to help exchanges, fintechs, and asset managers bring real-world DeFi products to market.
Legal Clarity for the Next Chapter
Le’s appointment comes at a time of tailwinds for compliant DeFi. As stablecoins become embedded in the financial system following the passage of the GENIUS Act, and more treasury teams explore yield-bearing crypto strategies, institutions are demanding infrastructure that is secure, transparent, and legally sound.
“There’s real momentum among institutions and fintechs moving into DeFi,” said Le. “Veda understands what it takes to support that shift both technically and legally. I’m here to ensure the platform meets the expectations of serious, long-term players in the space.”
At Veda, Le will lead legal, compliance, and policy efforts globally. Her work will help ensure Veda remains the most trusted foundation for building the next generation of crypto financial products.
